The Unit Circle and the trigonometry that follows are important concepts covered in Precalculus. Using this Ferris Wheel approach project, students work through a series of mini activities at their pace to discover the many characteristics that make up the Unit Circle.Through these activities, students construct a file folder that contains essential trigonometry information: converting from degrees to radians, using right angle trigonometry to discover the coordinates, etc. In addition, the activities cover graphing the trig functions, their reciprocal graphs, and their respective inverses (including different characteristics of each).

The project itself takes multiple days, so this fishbowl experience will focus on what time allows.
